Artist Statement:
While attending Buffalo State College as an art student, I visited the Albright-Knox Art Gallery that is directly across from the campus several times. Of the many contemporary works on view were small boxes made by Joseph Cornell (1903-1972). These constructions were enchanting little environments that I thought were terrific works. Many years later I made boxes and prezzo in olanda other constructions and I could say that Cornell was certainly an inspiration in many cases.
